I had the depo shot back in October 2010. The shot was good for 12 weeks. After the shot "ran out", I was put on the NuvaRing. I had it for 2 months and had only mere spotting when taken out. The second month on the NuvaRing, by the advice of my DR. I took it out and left it out. I am now having weird symptoms, Gas, Constipation, change in sleep patterns, headaches, heartburn, etc. Could I be pregnant or is that just my body trying to get back in sync? HELP!

Most likely it is from your body adjusting to being off the hormones. It sounds as though the removal was fairly recent. Have you had sex since that time? It can sometimes take a few months to get regular again, and depo can often cause cycles to be off for awhile even after just one shot.

You could always try a pregnancy test to check.

Thank you for the answer back. I forgot to add that detail. I took it out February 28, 2011. And yes, I have had sex with my husband a mutitude of times since then. I have heard that it can take a while for my period to get back on track. After I took the Nuvaring out, I had spotting and serious cramping for about 3 days. Then, it stopped. About a week later, I got EXTREMELY moody and started cramping again and had heavier spotting fr about 4 days then it stopped. And now all these symptoms have started to manifest.

I'd try a pregnancy test. You have had sex since the removal of the Nuvaring, so pregnancy is going to be a possibility. However, it is often best to wait until you actually miss a period to achieve more accurate results.
