My nephew lives in my home and I want to kick him out. He does not pay rent or any other bills and claims I can't throw him out under this squatters rights law. They way I see it, he has no right to claim squatters rights for a room in the property I have occupied for 20 years. What is the correct interpretation of this law.

I expect that you are correct.
Evict him. If he tries to make this argument the court will tell him that "squatters rights (http://www.uo2000.com/mortgage/adverse_possession.htm)" doesn't apply to his situation.

In Ontario we have a bylaw on weed control. Our neighbours must keep their properties free of weeds,or the city will come and clean up then bill the rightfull owner. The property ajoining my property (fence line)was infested with weeds, trees, long grass,at approx 6 feet high.I've made newmoruse attempts to contact the owners but nobody would own up to this property. Now I've been taking care of this land (grass cutting,trimming,deweeding,etc... ) now for 18 years and come to find out the School Board owns this land. When I was approached by the officials of the School Board I told them to get off MY LAND which they did.I've not herd nothing from anyone since 10 months now. Now my question is where do I stand on this matter and should I push the envelope for ownership? I have been using the land for my pernonal welfare for 18 years and I want to own it. 160' long X 45' wide.
Thanks for you time and efforts on this matter!
Best regards,
Dan
