My husband and I are living with his mother. Not in the same house but on her property. She is in the hospital right now and can not make decisions. My husband is her beneficiary. This being said he is under a lot of stress and when we get in an argument he threatens to kick me out. He has control over the property he tells me... can he do that? Yes we are married and it is my legal address on my license. I just don't know the laws here in Fl since I moved from GA to be here with him. Hopefully everything will work out and we will get through this but I just want to be aware of the laws before he goes calling the cops on me or whatever. Thanks

He can not kick you out, legally. BTW, beneficiary is for after she passes so who has her power of attorney?

Where you live is the marital home. He can't just kick you out. He would have to file for divorce and get an order forcing you out. He CAN do that however.
