Hi Everyone,

I am 27 and been dating the same guy for 3.5 years and living together for 2 years. We get along so well and enjoy all the same activities. He is such a great guy, he does more around the house then me, is very supportive of all my ideas and really loving and caring. I do love him but sometimes I find myself wondering if he is "the one" of if there is someone else for me. This has been bothering me for almost a year on and off. Sometimes I am sure and other days I am not at all. He has never done anything wrong, I just feel like I'm too curious and this curiosity of others is becoming a huge distraction and making me uneasy. I find him very attractive but find myself indifferent to advances and rarely initiate anything. What should I do?

Stop being distracted, and figure out what the hell you want in life.

Tell you a secret, every human has many other humans we can really love and enjoy. Its strictly your choice to stop being curious enough to want to explore all the other possibilities, or not.

Maybe we cannot help the feelings we have, but we can control what we do about them.

You make your mind up,that's what you do.

Or you spend another 18 months toing-and-froing.

It's up to you.

You seem to have what so many that come here are searching for , but as you see it, it may not be enough.

We can be curious and intrigued by the ones just out of reach, but don't be distracted away from reality.

Take some time and read the problems of others that came here for advice and shoulder to get a little wet.

We all will wonder if we made the best choice for mates and fantasize a little , or more, about being with others. These will always seem exciting because they are what we alone make them , and who the hell wants to make up dull fantasizes ?

I will bet there are some who read your post that would like to kick your butt for having what they want, and you don't seem to understand how good you got it.

Concentrate on the good you have and be soothed knowing you will probably never have to face the prospect of being alone or worse, with someone you are afraid of, or someone who abuses your children, or cares for many others outside your relationship while you long for attention.

We come in contact with it almost daily here and we know how very lucky you are.
And hopefully you too will see that you have a prize sought by thousands and thousands.
