In this movie, a group of troublemaker kids are for some reason going on a plane. After it takes off something happens to the pilot so the kids are in charge of bringing the plane back to the ground safely. One boy I believe mentions he has had flying lessons or knows how to fly planes from video game simulators or similar, so he eventually has to land the plane himself. He is helped out by a man over radio (possibly local air traffic control or a small flight base?). I think this was a 1990s movie as I remember renting it in the mid 90s on VHS (straight to VHS, don't remember seeing it in the cinema). To memory, I don't think any well known actors (or anyone who was to grow up to be a well known actor) was in it. Pretty sure it was an american movie, low budget with a family-film/ drama sense to it.

Its definitely not flight of the navigator, spacecamp or keenan and kel (my buddies have suggested those already, lol!).

See if you can figure it out :) Thanks! :)
