My 1992 toyota 4runner's dash only lights up on the right half of it. I took it out and checked it out there are no bad bulbs but when I put it back in none of it lights up untell I hit my dash.

Any ideas all will help.

Those trucks are notorious for having poor connections at the cluster. Remove the cluster again and look for light corrosion on the contacts.

. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting. It may need replacing.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

If the problem persists, the printed circuit board (PCB) is likely bad.

Yes, when you HIT it, that may be temporarily be making the "poor" connection better. But that is only temporary. Kind of like jiggling the handle, you know..
Someone's got to look for that loose connection point.

Recently on the iATN, a tech was chasing the same problem on same truck.
A new printed circuit fixed it. Just FYI.
