View Full Version : Health problems or am I just silly?

I would like to know just what kind of doctor someone might think could help me or what of my list of odd things I experience is relevant to some kind of disorder or could just be something I don't need to worry about. I would hate to go to a doctor and embarrass myself over nothing. I have recurring blurred vision, even temporary blindness like screen static, and when my vision returns horrible headaches follow lasting until I have slept- I originally thought this to be related to blood sugar problems like diabetes but after a blood test that was ruled out. Other things I experience are: numbness or occasional pressure behind and around my right eye making it difficult to keep it open, severe pain in my legs especially after emotional lows. Difficulties concentrating unable to sleep well at night, and terrible mood swings. If anyone could offer advice on what I could be experiencing or really any advice would be great before I go to a doctor.

You need to have your eyes checked, blood pressure checked.

Best thing would be to start with a GP. It could be related to migraines or blood pressure or a number of other things. Your complaints aren't silly and will be taken seriously.

Thank you for answering so quickly! I intended to go to a GP but I hadn't thought about blood pressure, so I'll ask about that too, Thanks again.
