Well I'm 13 years old, turning 14 in April. My best friend moved to California and I live in Ohio. I want to visit her this summer but the only thing stopping me is the price of the plane ticket. Please help me I don't know what 2 do. Thaxs mary

You could go around your neighbours houses and do them small favours, a popular way in ireland for youngsters to make money is to bring a lawn mower round all the houses and charge them to cut their grass :) believe it or not it makes money, just be very careful and makesure you know and trust you neighbours.

I had a similar thought, but it is possible the OP has some money but just needs another $200.

Where I have my doubts, is that parents would allow to travel to CA by themselves. But its not impossible.

At 14, I believe you can get working papers. So you may be able to do a minimum wage job at that point. Even working 10 hrs a week should only take a few weeks to earn that much.

Ah, my niece was traveling from the US to Dubai at the age of 13. The airlines have "sitters" who fly with the minor from point A to point B at no extra cost.

Go to kayak.com I went too cali for 2 weeks and it was around $120 round trip :)
