A clown carries two mylar balloons that rub against the circus giraffe, causing the balloons to separate. Each balloon acquires 6.2×10-7 C of charge. How large is the electric force between them when they are separated by a distance of 27 cm?

I know it uses Coulomb's Equation, but I can't seem to get the answer. Would it be 9e9(6.2e-7)(6.2e-7)/(.27^2)?

Yeah, that appears to be correct. How do you know your answer is wrong? I get 0.047 N for the force.

Field? You mean force and in Newtons I hope :)

Doh! I'm sure glad there's an edit button! :o

I got .047 N too, but it says that it's wrong!

Never mind, I got it. I had to round to .0475

Good. I'm glad that mystery is cleared up. :)
