I am apermanent resident of the USA. I pay my taxes, have a job and have never committed a crime. I got three traffic citations and misunderstood the whole "court date" issue. Now I found out there is an "Alias Warrant" for me; and I'm scared because I am not a criminal. I want to make this right and either pay the fines or retain a lawyer to help me and clear this. My problem is that I won't have money until the 15th of this month, and I need to go out of the country for a couple of days this weekend on a family matter. Im scared of being arrested by the customs agents in front of my parents when coming back home. Will they do that or do you know if I'll be OK until Tuesday when I have money to go to the court? (I am not driving by the way, even tough I fixed all the issues that cause the citations). Thanks for any help with my question.

Could happen. One never knows what customs has on their databases these days. Find a way to pay the tickets.

Yes, one may consider paying all the money for airline tickets and take care of the problem. I would say if they let it go this bad, they knew about it long before now, and only worried, since they have to fly.
