I have been married for 2 years and divorced almost four years from ex-husband. The father of my son does not agree with my future move. The move is because of military orders and we have to go where the military sends us. The biological father does not agree. The percentage of time is 80% with mother and 20% with father. The move is from one state to across country (in states). What shall I expect or what are the laws on moving a child state to state, with the biological father knowing about the move but does not agree and it he is completely unstable?

Side info: biological father lives with girlfriend and her 3 children and their joint child, not including my son when he goes to visit, living in small house.

You refer to "ex-husband", "father of my son", and "biological father". This is all the same person, right?

You are going to have to ask the court to modify the terms of custody if your move would deprive him of his visitation rights. Otherwise, if you just up and move (with the child), he could ask the court to hold you in contempt.
