Does (C<0 3) mean 3 units?

Okay, all the points that lie 3 units from the point (2,3) will be on a circle of radius 3 units with centre at (2, 3).
Can you show where this circle meets the x-axis? And at how many points?

Be aware that we are not allowed to do your homework.
That said, this is the picture you should have:

Or a zoomed in image:
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?I=Plot%3A+(x+-+2)^2+%2B+(y+-+3)^2+%3D+9+from+x+%3D+0+to+x+%3D+4%2C+y+%3D+0+to+ y+%3D+4
Can you tell at how many points the circle touches the x-axis?
