My huaband was killed in an auto accident in 1994 in New Sarpy, Louisiana, he had two daughters and they open succession and demanded money from me. After their inappropriate tactics, I moved from our home(my husband and I lived in) and allowed his daughters, to sell the house and the land. I did not fight the girls, they hired three attorneys, neither was I aware of the attorneys, then they placed a lien on the property (property I purchased after my husband's death). I lost the townhome because of the mental pressure they placed on me. I moved away to California, finally able to find a job and began paying my mortgage. After family difficulties and my mental state, I could not pay the mortgage for the townhouse and it went into foreclosure, but was able to short sale to one of my deceased husband's relatives. Since the townhouse was sold, what should I do? Please tell me. I would like to go on with my life and would like to put this behind me. I'm a senior, I can't afford a battle, what do it do in this situation?

What are you asking about? Suing the daughters? Something else?

As I read this the important parts are that there was a legal fight which you lost; you moved and bought a town house; the townhouse was foreclosed.

What battle are you asking about?

What is the time frame here?
