So I think I a have Septate hymen, this maybe a bit gross...
So I look in the mirror and open like the lips and there's a really small hole right at the bottom of the lips (I think its hole, and by really small a about 1cm ish) then above there's a piece of skin (its kind of thick) and then if a move it to the side it looks like there's a hole there and then on the other side looks like there's a hole there. I have a few questions
Could this be a Septate hymen?
What would the hole like thing be?
What If I am wrong and I go to the doctors?
Could it be something else?
Does any one have this?
How do I ask my mum to take me or drop me?
Or since we live close to the shops and stuff should I say I am meeting my friend and then go to the doctors by myself?

Please help! I want to use tampons :(
Thank you sooo much

There are two holes, your urethra (where urine comes from) and your vaginal opening. This is separated from your anus by the perineum; the strip of skin between the anus and the vaginal opening. Your hymen is inside you.

Why do you want to go to the doctor? Your mom can answer your questions. And why tampons in particular, they cause toxic shock syndrome and are not very good for you.

I know there's three holes, but it seems like I have two holes where there's mean't to be one. I know I am just as confused.
I want to go to the doctor if it's a sepate hymen, I need it cut, if I want to use tampons. Why tampons because during term 1 at school we have swimming in pe and pads feel yucky.
I can't ask my mum these questions because we aren't close, and if I need to see what's wrong (if there is something wrong) I can't show her!

Center for Young Women's Health (http://www.youngwomenshealth.org) ›... › Puberty & Menstruation

Go to the left of the screen and enter what you want to know in the search. septate hymen

Puppy, here is a website that will explain what you want to know, including diagrams. Yes, your best bet is a doctor, but tell her you need to go to one just don't make a lie out of it. What is wrong with you is only quite natural and needs to taken care of, I agree.
