My husband and I have been Trying to conceive for 3 months. We are having very regular sex. Prior to Trying to conceive I have had very regular menstrual cycles (26-28 days, mild PMS symptoms about a day before I start (not really cramps, just sort of sensations), usually start w/ some spotting). The first month we've been Trying to conceive I had cramping for a couple hours, and then immediately started to flow. This was on day 23. The second month I was crampy all one day, had horrible cramps the next day, and then started my period the following day. The day I started was day 20. This month I was crampy 3 days ago, had bad cramps 2 days ago and today have been a little crampy but also feel full and sort of like things are moving around. Today is day 22 of my cycle. I used ovulation predictors this month and saw a surge around day 12. I have not been on the pill for over 18 months. I guess my questions is whether what's happening with my cycles is just coincidental, or whether something is going on. It seems odd to me that we're really not doing anything different (other than having more frequent sex) but that my body which has been regular pretty much my whole life is now having early period, bad cramps, etc. I took a pregnancy test today because I expected to have my period by now since I've been crampy for a couple days and it was negative. Thank you!

It could be a coincidence, it could also be stress from Trying to conceive.

Its hard to say, but talk to your doc if you're concerned.
