I died my hair 2 days ago, and I wanted a dark brown but my hairdresser said I would be better starting at a light brown and working my way down throughout time (2 shades darker than my original shade), but I still had blonde highlights in from over a year ago, so my hairdresser put a bright red on it to get rid of it. She then put the light brown on and when it was done, it was light brown halfway down my head and then bright red at the bottom. I've tried using head and shoulders to fade it, and blowdrying my hair, and it has faded, but very slightly. My hair looks awful and I need to get rid of it asap. Any brown hair dyes that I can buy that will get rid of the red and make my hair the same colour? And any more remedies of fading the red?
