Describe what is required for a magnetic field to be used to generate energy. How must a conductor loop be oriented and what must it do relative to the magnetic field.
Thanks already!

This principle is what is used in a dynamo. (You might want to read more about it on the net). The energy conversion occurs when a coil of conducting wire is rotated between two different poles of two permanent magnets.

A simple ac generator model:

And a simple dc generator model:

The coil actually cuts the field lines are it rotates (driven by water, steam, etc) and by Fleming's left hand rule, there is a current which will flow in the coil.

Be aware that we do not do your homework for you. Since this is your first time here, we'll leave it, but next time you ask a homework question, show what you have attempted, what are your thoughts, what you think might be the answer, etc.
