Has your vet confirmed asthma? It is a rare condition in dogs.

If so, what medication is the dog on for the asthma?

Where exactly is the blood coming from? Dry nose or does it appear to be further up? If it is internal then please get your dog to the vet as soon s possible.

I took my dog to the Vet but I live in Vietnam and all the vets here are useless they say that my dog has Asthma but they told me that they can't do anything for my dog. Instead they tell me to feed him lungs to help but personaly I think that is a load of rubish. My dog is 12 years human age and has had asthma nearly all his life a friend of mine sugested this site to me because they came round one day and my dog had an attack. So she told me to get onto this web site. I don't know if the blood came from his nose ore his lungs because he just kept licking his nose and did not let anyone near him. I can say that his attacks happen mostly when he gets excited or when I take him for his walk and sometimes even after he has been barking.
I hear from my friend that there is a new vet's clinic opened ore opening soon with western vets and equipment and so I am asking around to see if anyone knows where it is and once I find out where it is I am going to take my dog there.

Feed him lungs to help with his asthma, I agree with you, the vet sounds pretty useless to be honest.

I hope the new vet is better, we really can't offer much advice on here as we don't know exactly what the problem is. I would hate to guess.

I do know that with asthma the dog wheezes and often coughs after activity. It can be caused by allergies so if you can remove anything from his environment that you think could affect him it could help. Common things dogs can be allergic to are cleaning products, certain plants and perfumes.
