I have been doing the ovulation tests for 14 days today and all 14 days have been positive, so I thiught id try another brand and they came up negative, I went to the dr and she thought that the brand could be faulty. I just wanted to be sure so I went to a totally different chemist and bought my usual brand, I just did one from the new chemist and it was positive again, but using the same wee I tried the oother brand and it negative, what in the world is going on? They both test the same amount of LH so it can't be that and what are the chances of the same brand being faulty from 2 totally different chemists

Instead of going through HPTs by the truckload, why not go to the doctor to get a blood draw? That's as accurate as they get, and they no longer kill rabbits for it.

HPTs are anywhere from 95% - 99% accurate. So this means that while they're relatively accurate, they still make mistakes, and they could also be faulty.

Are you using morning urine, without drinking water beforehand?

Hi, thanks for replying, I'm using ovulation tests not pregnancy test, and they did blood and its negative, this is exactly what happened last time I was pregnant, 10 days of positive ovulation tests, negative blood test then 2 weeks later positive HPT... I just don't understand how one brand is positive for ovulation and the other one isn't, I'm using the same wee and the same time to test them both, and both test for the samw amount of LH... I want to stop testing so I stop stressing but I can't do it, haha
