I want to remove a biological fathers name from my 1 year olds birth certificate, is it possible to do without him knowing and even if he didn't want me to?

No it isn't possible, the bio father is still the father and his name should be on the because. You have to have his permission to remove his name for another.

Why would you do this to your CHILD?
Just because YOU don't like the bio-father doesn't mean the child doesn't have a right to a correct record.
My advice is to GET OVER whatever you have against the biological father, because YOU were the one that slept with him, and YOU were the one who had a child by him.
You cannot change a LEGAL document just because you want to.

After I had my son I was with the father for 3 weeks and he walked out and I meet someone else who I been with for a year and 5 mnths and he is a father to my son and were on baby number 2 I would like to put him on my sons birth certificate even thought my boyffriend didn't help make him he is being a better father than my sons real creater he isn't a father and shouldn't deserve to be on there he was put on there cause I had no other choice. But I do now :) I hope we find a solution...

And you are hoping for a different answer to the same question?
As a matter of fact, you are in luck.
Marry the guy. Then let him adopt the child.
This is one reason why we ask that you start your own thread rather than tack your question onto what seems to be a thread similar to your issue. If it were exactly the same, we wouldn't be able to help you. If it is different we would rather not be confused by the facts pertaining to the original post.
