I have a 40 year old tile floor with hundreds of 1-2 inch small tile pieces attached to approximately an inch of cement, then the subfloor is under this. I am removing the tiles, but after removing 3 small pieces of tile, this is proving to be very tedious. Any suggestions?

Since you should remove the tiles and the cement I'd buy or rent a hammer drill, small jack hammer or a new type of scraper attachment for a reciprocating saw. Quinn Tools Scraper Attachment for Reciprocating Saw (http://www.mytoolstore.com/quinn/quinndex.html)

Now why didn't we think of inventing that, Bob! ;) Looks like a useful tool, for sure!

I actually did invent that scraper and attached it to a Skill X tool years ago, just never thought about a patent
