I've had a wart like bump on my penile shaft for around 15 years it doesn't get bigger or smaller and doesn't come and go. Does anyone have any idea what it could be I've never worried about it but the girl I'm dating now is freaked by it and I tell her not to worry cause none of the girls I've had long term relationships with or one night stands have ever had a symptom from it. Is it possible to have one wart last that long it seems to be on the skin above were the veins meet under the skin. It doesn't itch I have no prblems with urination or erection I don't have insurance and since the girl I'm dating is the only girl to ever wonder about it I'm just curious if anyone has had this problem or knows what it is.

You need to get it checked by a doctor. It may not be herpes but it can be something just as serious. It may or may not be a problem. But only a professional can tell for sure.
