What school? ANY school? Most people go back to school to better themselves and become more marketable in the work force. Right now, the way things are going, just having a college degree means squat. I have many friend with MBAs that USED to work as investment bankers, for $250 - 300k a year... right out of school, at the age of 24 - 25.
Now, they're working at a rooms to go, or a store at the mall.

BTW, that's 3 threads you've started on the same subject. Maybe you can offer off more details on your situation so you'll get more detailed answers.

I have removed and merged the duplicates you have posted and unless you clarify your question here I will close this one as well.

You go to school to get an education, so you will be able to get a job and support yourself when you reach adulthood, instead of being taken care of and living off your parents your whole life, or even worse like living on the streets or in jail.

An education also allows to do their own homework... and teaches them NOT to use text speak.
A total of 37 homework questions (or homework-related questions), this being one of them...

Children also go to school to develop social skills with other students and listening skills in the classroom.
