I was suspended from school in what me and my family seem to be unfairly. My friend tipped paint down the stairs on our school bus and it got some girls as well but I was guilty by association and my mother received an e-mail from one of my assistant head that stated I did not pour any paint on the girls or on the bus and yet they have still suspended me which I find unfair. Also everyone has heard the term 'innocent until proven guilty' but my school were not sure of who poured the paint and had not seen the CCTV but they done it the other way round it was guilty until proven innocent. That is now on my record and could affect me getting into 6th form. Is there anything I can do about this or I right I have as a 15 year old?

Is there evidence that you were not involved in the paint tipping? Were you there when your friend poured the paint?

In law, you can certainly be guilty without doing anything, if you were involved, say providing moral support, for the person who did the crime. If you were not there, or tried to stop your friend, then you have a good case to get your record corrected.

No I wasn't there when my friend tipped the paint, and people on the bus wrote statements for me saying that and also saying I said to give the paints back to who they originally belonged to which I did, and I'm still being dragged into all of this
