I found a one dollar silver certificate saved by my mother probably in early 30s. I'd appreciate any information about its value. It says 1929B. I do not find any plate number as you describe in another answer. The signatures are Woods and Mills, best I can tell. The seal is blue. There's an F in upper left, bottom right. Back ONLY says one dollar with United States of America on upper banner, of course. My husband says it's worth $1, period. It has been folded into eighths, but not handled for all these years. Serial #YO 5476860A Thank you.

Unfortunately, its probably not worth more than about $2.00 :( Unless it happened to be a key date and or in excellent condition. Ie: not folded, torn or handled. I don't know off hand its exact value but I texted someone who does, once I hear back ill let you know what he said.
