I am on H1 and my wife is on H4. My visa expired on 31st Jan and extension for the same has been filed.
In the meanwhile I want to apply for tax returns. Since it requires ITIN, which has a section on visa expiry, I am not sure how to go about applying for tax returns and ITIN.

Please provide a suggestion / help on the above query at the earliest.

Insert the date to which the visa was extended, and send copies of the paperwork that shows the extension, along with a notarized photocopy of the passport picture page.
