I replaced the engine in my 1993 civic dx hatchback using my original wire harness and distributor. The car runs great but the check engine light is on and when I check why I get a code 9 message. The runs great but I can't get the check engine light to go out what is the problem? Help!

Obviously, there's a problem with the Cylinder Position Sensor, which is unserviceable. Reliability will be suspect, and the CEL will likely stay on, until you replace the distributor housing. I only recommend Honda genuine distributor housings.
