My fiancé has received a civil summons from an ex-girlfriend claiming she wants repayment of 1000.00 for bailing him out and court fees in 2008. My fiancé says that at the time his former boss had lended him the money and was given to his ex-girlfriend at the time to bail him out.. now she claims that it was her money.. but the former boss has proof that his bookeeper has proof of the recipt... what do we do?

He goes to Court with his proof. You have no legal standing, no legal voice, in this.
(I notice this is posted under Civil Rights. Am I missing something?)

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
If you have proof that the money was supplied by the former boss then HE goes to court and argues the case presenting his proof.
