I have been lacking the energy the last two or three weeks to get out of bed. I'm not sure why. I drink caffeine to wake up, but the burst of energy is short-lived. Yes, I get at least 8 hours of sleep at night. I would go to a doctor for professional medical advice, but we've been slammed with ice and snow. It's dangerous to venture out in icy conditions. The lack of energy to make it through my day is on-going and it's alarming to me. Any clue to why this might be taking long to get past it? If you worry about me being able to log in and see your answers - don't sweat it. I have the install disk I can go log in when needed.

I would perhaps say that it's caused by you being confined to one place, most people don't thrive about being inside all they, can make them depressed, sleepy, anxious and really wear a person down.

But there is a solution. Keep your mind busy, find something to do - and above all, lots and lots of exercize.
The first two couple of day you might feel more tired than usual, but I promise you that you will get renewed energy and you will feel good about yourself afterwards.

It might not be a bad idea to go in for a check-up. Its most likely nothing to worry about, but it won't hurt to know a little sooner rather than later if it is something more serious.

Trying making some stretching and some basic exercise and try making them a routine. This helps making blood circulate through your body and make your mind more awake. Especially because the blood will oxygenate your brain more. Stuffiness in a room might be the reason, and the fact that there has been snowstorms probably means there is not much fresh air coming in the house.
