Fan/ light not working. Wireless wall transmitter seems fine. I want to remove receiver from fan and just be able to use pull chains. How is this done?

Lets first establish does the fan currently have pull chains? Is there alsom a wall switch? I can walk you through the steps to remove a malfunctioning system. However, installing a new universal remote and receiver isn't mch more work. Which do you want to do? We could also take a shot at fixing your current unit if you like playing lectrical detective

It honestly may be easier and faster to just replace the fan entirely. You may find that after trying to remove the receiver, the fan still might not work.
