Hi! My name is Justin and I am very interested in opening up a shelter for homeless children or battered women... not quite sure which one I just know that I want to benefit my community and also make a stable living for myself and my family. I have the motivation and ambition but I lack resources. Are there any programs who offer sum form of financial assistance?? I am SO ready to get on the ball and accomplish my goals!

How will a non-profit homeless shelter give you and your family a stable living?

Usually homeless shelters are part of an established charity, the county, a church group, etc. I've never heard of one "owned" by an individual.
