If I move to Florida but continue to work for a company in NYC, how can I avoid NYC & NYS income taxes?

NOT if you work and live in NYC on a temporary basis.
The NY City tax authorities will consider you to be a resident if you maintain an apartment in NYC while working there.
If you live and work in Florida, but are paid from a company based in NYC, you are NOT liable for ANY New York taxes.
