I am the executor and my brother won't give me the house keys,can I change the locks?

If you are the executor, then you must know who the solicitor is, otherwise, you wouldn't know you were the executor. So which is it ? If you are are th executor, then your brother has to respect that position given to you by your, mother, father, whoever has passed on. And it is in the will. No, you can't change the locks until all of this settled, so you all have to agree, talk to the lawyer who executed the will.

This is silly. Just get it done.

It was years ago and I can't remember.I will ring round some solicitors tomorrow.my brother is taking things out of the house which I have told him not to do as it is disrespectful and we should leave it to the solicitor,but he has carried on taking things,how can I stop him
