And... you need to simplify that?

Okay, break up the 216 into its prime factors, can you post what you get?

OK I factored it out and got 3 and 72 then I continued and got 6 square root of 2 and 3 as me answer is that right

Okay, you should get this:

\sqrt{216}v = \sqrt{36 \times 2 \times 3}v = 6\sqrt{6} v

When you can't find any square number, that's it and 6 radical 6 v is the answer.
