Are there any document proofs required to be submitted for my foreign earned income, if I fill 2555 alongwith form 1040?

No proof is required. However, you must keep it in case IRS asks for this. Another filing requirement is Form TD F 90-22.1. Your U.S. Tax Return: U.S. Citizen or Resident with Foreign Income (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/03/us-citizen-or-resident-with-foreign.html)

The link says that I have to file TD F 90-22.1 only if the combined assets in the account are $10000 or more... right?
