View Full Version : Why can't I use Hiren boot cd

Today I downloaded Hiren boot cd to back my old computer when the download finshed I got a zip archive and it won't burn to a disk so I can boot it . I have tried that file of my mac and my vista laptop won't work eather way can any give me a liketo the iso file online ?

UNzip the archive and go from there.

Google ZipCentral, its freeware and I use it myself to extract zip archives. It will also let you read text files inside the zip without actually extracting the whole shebang. Once you open the zip you can drag and drop it out to the same folder the zip file is in and once out you can delete the zip to save room if your sure the iso is good ( I use ultraiso to open isos files, and if they will not open then something went wrong with the extraction).

Unzip > convert to ISO (imgburn) > Burn ISO to disc.
Imgburn can be downloaded HERE (http://www.imgburn.com)
I use it for all ISO conversions and burning CD/DVD's. You will need to unzip the files first... when you're looking at the zipped folder/files you should have an Unzip option on the top left of that window..
