The best way to pierce ANY part of your body is with a needle. In my area you can't get piercings with a needle until your 13, but maybe in your area it is different. If you don't have your lobes done, I'd get that first. They hurt the least and if you can take the pain from that maybe then get your cartilage. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't get your cartilage pierced with a gun! I have two cartilage piercings, one with a gun and one with a needle. The gun one has a bump behind it and still hurts if I bump it, it has been pierced for almost 3 years now! The needle one healed perfectly within a month.

1st thing- 11 is too young for cartilage. Im 13 and just got my 2nd lobe and trust me that's plenty till high school. 2nd thing- have you talked to your parents about this? They were 11 once too and can help you

I think the guns work fine for lobe piercings, but not for cartilage.

I agree with Lizzy13, why not just start with a lobe piercing first? Most of all, be certain your parents agree with whatever you do.
