Ok I've been in a relationship for 6 years and we are most likely going to call it quits. What is really bugging it about me is I meet girls in college and see girls around in stores, the mall, bars, clubs and I never met a girl that I would replace my girlfriend with, although I avoid meeting girls because of my status. How often does a nice girl come along I never meet any, I never see a girl and say wow she looks like a nice person! I am very attractive and it just seems too easy the way girls act around me. I love my girlfriend but I am almost positive it is over, story is here:

I really don't want another girl but I am forcing myself to find one, as I am sure she is ready to move on. This is the toughest thing I have ever went through but I am happy I am going through it because the bad times make the good times better. Anyway I am just very worried because I am very picky with girls even though my girlfriend right now is not a knock out, I was never attracted to her very much and I always took her for granted but she was always great to me. I never thought she was pretty it's amazing I was actually embarrassed of her, I mean she not ugly she's like an 8. I'm afraid to date and find out girls are not like my girlfriend and its going to make me depressed!

You can never replace your ex, nor would it be healthy to compare and putting females into little categories is not good either. It would help a lot if you were at the stage in life, that you knew what you want in a friend or partner, and know where you were going with your life, so you would have an idea what kind of person you really wanted to share that life. I would imagine doing the things you enjoy would put you in touch with females that shared your kind of fun.
