Im 31yrs. Old, and recently found out that the man who raised me is not my father. My real father was my uncle who just passed on Jan.2. My mother decided to tell me because my uncle (dad) left some money in the bank and the family was upset that the man I thought was my father was the beneficiary. I want to know if I can sue both of them for lying to me? Any help please!

Take a breath, and say NO, first did the man who raised you, ( your father) love you, treat you well ? Also did he adopt you or was he just there for you growing up.

There was a reason for this, perhaps an affair you mom would have rather not talked about, or trying to explain why your uncle ( is that your moms brother or the man who raised you ( father) brother,

In either case I can see them not wanting to proclaim it to the world.

next you are not out any money or anything of value, so there is no basis for a claim.

opinion, get over it, if you have said bad words to your mom and "man who raised you ( father)" go tell them you are sorry and love and appreciate the people God put in your life.

There's no law that says a mother has to tell the truth to her child about who fathered him or her.
You could look into contesting the will.
Perhaps the inheritance is thanks for raising you. Perhaps even stepping in to marry your mother so that you would have a father...
Give this some thought before you leap.

Not even close. I understand you are upset, but you have suffered no real damage so there is no grounds for a suit.
