Hi I am currently living in a transitional living group home. I was looking around all day on the internet to try and find maybe a grant, financial aid, or something to possibly get a hold of some extra money. My group home is an independent living group home but can only provide so much for all of the kids on campus. I was trying to get a hold of the money so that I could buy things like new school clothes, hygiene, daily care products, and possibly some new school books/technology. For example: Laptop. If anyone could give me a website to look into things or just a place that I can call and see if I qualify this would be greatly appreciated.

What State? Your social worker should have all this info at his/her fingertips. I am not aware of any such "grants," particularly for hygiene products, but I am in NY.
