Well previously I missed my period and took two yes and they automatically came up positive. Me' and my boyfriend want to keep the baby. But I'm really scared. Do I have to have a parent to go to the doctor with me' to see how many months I am and stuff. by the way. I'm 16.
Please help!

At this point if you are pregnant then you need to let your parents know. There are certain decisions you can make on your own with regard to your baby but your parents are still responsible for you.

You can go to the doctors to see how many months you are with your boyfriend, with a friend or on your own. Doctors/gp's are obliged to keep your information and whatever you tell them confidential unless you pose a threat/danger to yourself or other people. In my opinion, I don't think it'd be a good idea to keep the baby because of your age; you have to be prepared to bring up a child - mentally, physically and emotionally. Now a days there are far too many children raising children but at the end of the day it is your decision. Go to your doctor/gp and find out how many months you are and have a discussion of your options with him/her and then go to your parents and tell them what your decision is after talking with the doctor - they'll be mad at first but they will support you no matter what, after all, you will always be their little girl.

Problem is that depending on where the OP lives just going to the doctor (any doctor) really isn't going to do anything. Since the OP is a minor their hands are tied. Only places like planned parenthood or other services like that could possibly check. Otherwise the parents would have to consent.
