Hello,
We have the cutest little long hair teacup chihuahua that we got last April 2010. This is my wife's dog and she works with her very hard. She decided she wanted to have the dog go on the potty pads. My wife is with the dog 24/7. She loves this dog to death she has tried rewarding the puppy whenever she uses the pad, however, when we let her out of the family room any rung laying on the floor is a potty pad. We have scolded her and then put her on her potty pad and she just goes out and does it again. She doesn't seem to sniff around before she goes she just drops and goes. We are at wits end about how to get her to only go on the pads. If we confine her to the family room (my wife spends most of her time there) she is with my wife or can see my wife in the breakfast nook. She will use the potty pad in the corner in the family room. If my wife lets her out to chase the other dog around she pee's where ever there is a rug and will even dump a doody. Please help us correct this behavior.
Thanks,
