Hi everyone, I have recently been to the doctor and after scans and blood tests have been diagnosed with PCOS. The doctor has told me the sooner I try for a baby the better as I am still young (22 yrs) I already have a son and have been wanting another child for some time.

She has put me on the pill for one month hoping that it will regulate my hormones and the following month my body will produce a ripe egg and I may be able to conceive.

So I am wanting some tips that could help such as food that may help, best sexual positions when trying to conceive and everything in between.

Thank you to everyone in advance.

There are no foods or sexual positions that will help. I would, though, suggest you start taking prenatal vitamins if you are not already.

My Doctor told me today that eating Brazil nuts and Cooked Tomato could improve my Partners sperm quality.

Wearing boxers instead of briefs will help him just as well. No hot tubs for him either.

Also I have heard that waiting before going to the bathroom after sex can be good if you are wanting to get pregnant, but then hear from others that you have to go to the toilet immediately after sex to stop developing infections. (urine infections) I think they said.

Which is the right one??

You see, the semen are in the vaginal vault while the urine comes out of the urethra. They are two different "holes" so to speak. So you won't "pee" out the semen.

Going to the bathroom right after having sex is to prevent urinary tract infections. You see, the vagina (not urethra) is not sterile, where the bladder is a sterile environment, so you want to pee to get the germs out and away from the urethra.
