I'm not really phased by personal drama, there aren't emotional situations I can't diffuse. I don't get angry, and my ego remains locket in a box. Aren't artists angst ridden, obsessive compulsive, emotional beings?

No. My artist son is the most mild-mannered, even-tempered person I know. A former artist coworker is the same.

You're thinking of mentally ill artists such as Van Gogh whose art came from their tortured psyches.

Fazed, not phased, by the way

Maybe I want to be an artist more than I feel artistic... Thank you Wondergirl.

ARE you artistically talented, or do you want to be an artist like I want to be a ice skating queen?

Well, people tell me I am good at playing guitar however you don't have to be artistic to play an instrument, just to write music, and I haven't written any music. I think that its just like wanting to be the ice skating queen, but I can't help it I really really really want to be an artist. This topic has made me feel like a kid again... ha.

Did you know Van Gogh went crazy because he ate his own lead based paint. In his journal he said that yellow was the tastiest.
