I got my H1-B approved recently (Jan 2011), but weirdly enough I have H1-B start from June 2011! My OPT is valid until Sep 2011. So, I guess my question is, what happens now? Can I still work on OPT or has there been a mistake on H1-B start date?

Confirm that your I-797 states a change of status to H-1B has been granted.
