Hi,

I have done a bachelors in science (3 years degree) from India and mini mba fron university of buffalo, US. I am also currently doing MBA by distance learning from india. I wish to apply for CPA from Delaware. Could anyone please help me with the following questions:

1. as per the eligibility requirements, I need to complete 21 semester hours of accounting, auditing or federal taxation. From where do I complete it? I wish to pursue it online.

2. Is 3 years bachelors degree and 1 year mini mba or 1 year of mba considered as 12+4 years of education in US? Is it adequate to qualify as a baccalaureate candidate?

Thanks.

Do you mean the University at Buffalo? What is a mini-mba?

I would check out the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) web site, which is: Welcome to the AICPA (http://www.aicpa.org/Pages/Default.aspx) for the specific requirements for your state, as each state has their own individual requirements. Generally you need at least a Bacheler's degree with 150 semester hours, which a certain number of hours in accounting courses.

You can take your college accounting courses online or at a physical location. It does not matter. I am finishing my masters degree in Accounting and Financial Management at Keller Graduate School, which is part of DeVry University and they have online classes.
