In junior high school we watched a movie about a boy who's grandfather asked him if he could draw a caduceus, and then later after seeing how well it was drawn, encouraged the boy to become an artist.
Later in the film, as an adult, the artist is getting ready to have a one-man exhibition of his works. All of the paintings in the exhibition are scenes from when he was a boy spending summers at the beach.
One of the last paintings that's shown is a portrait of his now deceased grandfather.
