The car won't start, it just spins. The Battery is new, we have replaced the fuel pump. When we turn the key it clicks, and spins. The Engine will not turn over. I have read that it may be the ICM or ECM, but only if there is no spark. It is a 2.2 4 cylinder engine, and we are stumped/ So if anyone has any advice. THank you

Perform tests in the link below:

Verify the timing belt is fine. If the Ignition Control Module (ICM), coil, and condenser have not been changed in the last 120,000 miles or 10 years, then I would replace them. Try and go OEM. You may have spark--just not when the ECM directs. This is what happens when ICMs begin to fail and don't respond properly. Easy job.

Time to get away from toyota! Why not get a dodge ram or a chevy

Also make sure you have gas in the car... check the starter... change plugs and wires

If all else fails... google it
