I have a Hardie Irrigation system in my backyard and there is a box, but I cannot open, neither can my gardener because he was not working here when this was placed.
It says Hardie Irrigation Rain Dial.
*** let me know how to open and set the sprinkler on.

Phone or e mail the Hardie irrigation systems. Wouldn't that be a good bet to find out how to open it. We can't tell you how.

If there is no keyhole on the right side then it should just have a tab that latches on the non-hinge side. Just pull the tab out a little and it should open.

It it has a keyhole on the non hing side then you can usually get a new key at an irrigation supply store or work a flathead in there gently and it should turn. Could also try a low security key. For example, My truck toolbox key will open most simple locks like that if I play with it.
