I got married in June but unfortunately could not have proper intercourse as husband was not in town.. Now from nov onwards I am staying with him and we didn't have any problems in intercourse. Usually my periods are irr-regular sometimes in 36-40 days. From past few months it as proper where it used to be in 32 days. My last period date was 27 Nov. This time its been more than 45 days I have not got my periods. And two weeks back when I had intercouse with my husband there was light red spotting after that by which I got scared , that too could find out when I wiped through tissue. Its not bleeding. Last week when I had intercourse once again then there was no stains of light red blood. It was fine.I did the pregnancy test thrice but it came nagative. And two days back I got some light brown spotting only when I go to loo, wipe with tissue otherwise there is no stains and no pain.it was just for two days. I want to get pregnant but the tests shown negative. Please let me know what can be the reason fr all above symptoms.

I am also irregular and my cousin just told me basically the same story but her pregnancy test was posative. The light stain you are talking about could be as simple as minor abrasion inside from sex or the color change from red to brown could be a simple "spotting" period or even a urinary tract infection. Drink some cranberry juice (helps a U.T.I.) and lay of the sex for a week or so. Hubby might not be to happy but I think he will take your health over his desires. If he doesn't that's another problem on it's own. The cran juice and laying off sex is a temp fix. If it is itchy or has an odor go to the doc. But in all honesty either way I think you should see a gyn.
